Social Projects

The Sacred Heart of Mary School develops several projects of solidarity in order to awaken the students’ consciousness of social justice. Here are some examples:

Visits to local institutions that help the children, the elderly and the disabled; students get involved in organizing games, plays and dance performances. They also offer them handmade gifts.

  • Participation in the nationwide campaign against hunger twice a year (May and December). Volunteer students spend a day in local supermarkets to collect food for those in need.

The School Solidarity Center (CAS) aims to support the families of our students who are in need. It’s coordinated by a Sister, with the support of the Solidarity Club and the Tutors.

Parents take part in the solidarity campaigns.
